A mature iridescent winged bee rests in a hexagonal cell. The single white wooden frame pulled out from the bee’s world, the hive contains embryos within the honeycomb. Reflections of life’s many stages can be seen in the deep textural amber recessed cells in this glass fused artwork. Multiple layers of fusing sheet glass, powders, and chips create the structure. This creation can be either table standing or wall mounted.
